On 31st March 2002, Getaway Digital Ltd was formed as part of a Management Buy-out to acquire the online publishing interests of the former company Resort Marketing & Publishing Ltd.

Getaway Digital's core interests are the publication of FREE tourism guides both online or in print, across the South of England. We are at the forefront of new media tourism promotion with our flag ship publication Resort-Guide.co.uk having first been established on the Internet way back in 1995. Now it's 9th full year on line, this web site attracts over 1.5 million unique visitors each year, and there are now over 1,.000 tourism advertisers, ranging from entry adverts to fully integrated regional banner campaigns.

Recently, the company has continued to expand its publishing interests in the printed tourism guide market, and now produce a series of Pocket Guides, under the "Pocket Guide To:" brand.

Getaway Digital also undertake the development and promotion of cost effective content managed web sites, and bespoke printed marketing material principally for small and medium sized businesses within the tourism sector.
